About Dr. Bahrami
Mads Bahrami received his PhD in physical chemistry from Sharif University of Technology. His field of research is the foundation of quantum theory and quantum computation. He did his postdoctoral research in the EU under a Marie Curie fellowship and also in the US at the University of California, Riverside, developing new methods for quantum error correction in noising environment. Mads is currently the director of educational programs at Wolfram Research, and leading the Wolfram quantum team: http://wolfr.am/wolfram-quantum

About Quantum Meetup:
With classes simmering down and the summer temperatures simmering up it's a good time to start up a semi-regular Quantum Meetup. Many of you have been working hard and have made great progress in recent months and this can be an excellent venue to showcase your results, construct new connections and strengthen old ties.
Over time, the goal of this meetup will be to hit every part of the Quantum Stack, from quantum specific high level languages down to qubit manufacturing, all the way back up to quantum algorithm design and their cosynthesis with specific quantum hardware architectures.
