Year of Diversity Workshop: Strategies to Help Women Succeed in STEM Professions

Many groups are severely under-represented in STEM professions. This workshop will explore strategies to help women thrive in STEM professions. We will first focus on the barriers to their advancement before discussing strategies to promote and support diversity in STEM disciplines and raise overall standards. Faculty from the School of Arts & Sciences, engineering school, and medical school will be invited to attend. After the workshop, we will invite the participants to dinner to foster a supportive environment.
