Jyoti Katoch and Simran Singh have research labs in Wean Hall. The Katoch-Singh Lab capabilities include quantum material synthesis using molecular beam epitaxy, atomically-precise quantum matter assembly using mechanical transfer methods, in-situ cryogenic magneto-transport, Raman & photoluminescence spectroscopy, magnetic resonance, and high-frequency transport (up to 50 GHz). Additionally, we make use of synchrotron light source facilities around the world, including Advanced Light source in Berkeley, to study the electronic structure of quantum materials and their devices using nano-focused angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (nanoARPES).
